The Roll Up Door Lock automatically locks when the box truck or trailer door is closed. Upon closing, the lock"™s interior jaws spring open to close around the carbon steel pins in the boot. Often times this lock is referred to as a "œslam lock".  The slam lock is designed specifically to reduce a driver"™s time and effort needed to secure the trailer with a padlock and hasp system.  The lock includes the lock body, mounting bolts (for dry van or refrigerated doors) and hardware that is welded to the truck or trailer floor. The floor hardware is referred to as the "œboot" and is made out of aluminum. The unit does not interfere with cargo handling. Includes ABLOY lock cylinder.
