Preparation:

1. Remove the OE breather can, and set it aside. Retain all bolts for reinstall.

Installation procedure:

1. Pre-assemble the MOUNTING BRACKET inside the LITE BOX, using (3) #10-24 X 1/2" TRUSS HEAD PHILLIPS and (3) #10-24 NYLOCKS, as shown below (position A) (hardware included). Tighten all hardware.
   1. OPTIONAL: If you are installing the FX LITE PANEL, leave the (3) nylocks loose enough to slide the mount slots of the FX LITE PANEL (position C) onto the bolts (position A). Then tighten all hardware.
2. Align the MOUNTING PLATE (B) with the flat back of the breather can.
   1. It is recommended to use some temporary adhesive, such as tape, to secure the mounting plate to the rear of the breather can.
3. Reinstall the breather can, with the new LITE BOX facing toward the front of the truck. Loosely tighten OE bolts.
   1. Make sure both rubber bumpers on the LITE BOX rest on the breather straps.
4. Adjust LITE BOX until the forward surface is parallel to the breather can. Also adjust LITE BOX until its bottom surface is flush with the bottom of the breather. Then tighten all OE bolts to the breather.
   1. IMPORTANT NOTE: If the bottom of the LITE BOX is below the bottom of the breather, the hood may collide with the bottom lite and/or the LITE BOX panel during opening/ closing of the hood.
